Middleton Wedding

Middleton is a city in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 15,770 at the 2000 census. The city is located partially within the Town of Middleton.

Middleton is a western suburb of Madison.

In July of 2005, CNN/Money and Money magazine ranked Middleton seventh on its list of the 100 best places to live in the United States.

The American Girl, Springs Window Fashions, and Electronic Theatre Controls company headquarters are located in Middleton. Middleton is also home to Morey Field, a single-runway, general use airport.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 21.0 km (8.1 mi). 20.9 km (8.1 mi) of it is land and 0.1 km (0.04 mi) of it (0.25%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 15,770 people, 7,095 households, and 3,980 families residing in the city. The population density was 754.5/km (1,953.2/mi). There were 7,397 housing units at an average density of 353.9/km (916.2/mi). The racial makeup of the city was 92.08% White, 1.97% Black or African American, 0.45% Native American, 2.66% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 1.27% from other races, and 1.54% from two or more races. 2.82% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
